The Best of Egypt & Jordan


Day 1: Arrive Egypt
Memphis Tours representative will meet & assist you at Cairo International Airport after luggage area. After that you will be transferred for accommodation at your hotel in Cairo. Check in & Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids Tour
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then you will be met by your personal guide who will accompany you to start an wesome tour at Giza Plateau. Visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. See the famous Sphinx and the great Valley temple facing the great statue. Lunch included during the tour. Proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid). Move to Memphis; Old kingdom's capital and famous Necropolis. Back to hotel & overnight.

Day 3: Cairo Tours
Breakfast at hotel and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit: Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot). Have lunch during the tour at local restaurant. After that move to visit Salah El din Citadel including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Later, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train to Aswan; dinner and breakfast will be served on board - overnight on train board.

Day 4: Arrive Aswan

You will be met at Aswan station, then transfer to enjoy a tour to one of Egypt's top tourist attractions, Abu Simbel temple by land, which were originally carved out of the mountain side during the reign of Pharaoh Ramsses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari. From Aswan to Abu Simbel is about 03 hours driving per way. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5: Nile Cruise / Aswan Sightseeing
After Breakfast, Embark on your 5 star cruise.  Lunch, then visit the world famous High Dam, then on to the beautiful located Temple of Philae on Isis Island and the Granite Quarries and Unfinished Obelisk , which is dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Dinner on cruise and Overnight.

Day 6: Kom Ombo / Edfu Sights
Sail to Kom Ombo, take lunch and Visit Kom Ombo Temple. Take afternoon tea, then enjoy oriental dinner & have fun with Galabiya & costume party. Sail to Edfu. After that,  visit the Temple of Hours in Edfu, the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak and one of the best preserved, the Temple of Hours in Edfu, which is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and built in the Ptolemaic period. Sail to Luxor and overnight on board.

Meals: - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner  

Day 7: Luxor Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the most interesting tombs at the West Bank of the River Nile, the Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Hatshepsut, the powerful Egyptian queen, then to the Colossi of Memnon, these twin statues depict Amenhotep III.

Meals: - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

Day 08: Nile Cruise / Sharm El Sheikh
Breakfast and disembark the cruise, then you will be transferred to Luxor airport to fly to Sharm El Shiekh with direct transfer to your hotel for free time at leisure with overnight stay.

Day 09: Sharm El Sheikh / Ras Mohammed National Park
Tour to Ras Mohamed National Park for snorkeling / a fantastic day out to the Red Sea underwater Marin life and then transfer back to the hotel in Sharm el sheikh free time at leisure in Sharm El Sheikh with overnight at your hotel.

Day 10: Optional Tours to St. Catherine Monastery
Free day in Sharm or join our optional tour to The Monastery of St. Catherine located at the heart of Sinai and at the foot of the Gebel Musa, or Mount Moses. Fronted by gardens and cypress trees, the monastery is owned and run by the Greek Orthodox Church. Its rich library houses the world's second largest collection of illuminated manuscripts after the Vatican. You can see the Burning Bush and a large number of antique works of art: invaluable icons, beautifully carved doors, exquisite wall paintings and other fine religious ornaments.

Day 11: Sharm / Aqaba (Wadi Rum) / Petra
You will be met by our representative at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and transferred by air-conditioned van class to Taba Border about 03 hours driving. Here take on your own account taxi between Taba and Arava Border and pay Israeli departure tax of 37 USD pp (not included in below rate).  Jordan terminal you will be met by another representative who will assist you through immigration and then you will depart Aqaba for Petra. Along the way you will stop to explore Wadi Rum, where you will enjoy an exhilarating 4X4 ride visiting the Wadi Um Eshreen, the Moving Sand, Al Khazali, Abu Aineh and Rum Mountain. We will see the trail of Lawrence of Arabia and the famous Red Mountains. Afterwards we proceed north to the spectacular lost city of Petra. Overnight in Petra

Day 12: Petra Tours
Breakfast at your hotel in Petra and then you will be accompanied by your English speaking guide to explore Petra " Rose-Red City" for a full day sightseeing tour of the ancient city comprises a complete urban infrastructure which includes temples, baths, private houses, high places, paved streets, public buildings, markets, theatres, reservoirs and cisterns. Its entrance, a one-kilometre long fissure through the towering cliffs, "The Siq", provides a dramatic approach and induction to the city. The narrow winding path through the canyon dramatically opens up to expose the awesome façade of the Elkhazneh, "the treasury", with lunch at specialty restaurant of international and local Jordanian cuisines then transferred your hotel in Petra for overnight stay.

Day 13: Petra (Dead Sea) Amman
After breakfast depart Petra and continue northwards to Amman with stops to visit the Dead Sea, and the Christian town of Madaba where we will visit St. George's Apostle Church , home to a stunning mosaic map of the ancient Middle East . Continue to nearby Mount Nebo where we will visit the church on top of the hill from where, it is believed, Moses viewed the Promised Land. Continue to Amman and check into your hotel for overnight in Amman.

Day 14: Amman /Home
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman for final departure.

2- You must have a valid passport to enter Egypt. (You must have at least 6 months of validity beyond your scheduled return date.)

4-Sleeper trains are designed and equipped according to a satisfactory standard and quality that was set up by the Egyptian Railway Authority.
5- Sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan is about 14 hours.
